1. What is Sichuan famous for?

Sichuan is famous for its spicy cuisine such as hotpot and Mapo Tofu, lovely giant panda, scenic spots like Jiuzhaigou and Leshan Giant Buddha Statue.

For geographical reasons, Sichuan is located in the Basin, year-round rainfall results in a humid and cold climate, especially in winter, even thick clothes can not block the cold, so the local people eat chili to dispel cold and remove dampness.

For historical reasons, due to the mountainous area of Sichuan, the traffic is very inconvenient in ancient times, resulting in the lack of daily necessities such as oil and salt. In order to solve this problem, local people either use chili pepper or pickled cabbage instead of oil and salt, which has formed a habit over time.

In spring, there are pear flowers, peach blossoms, rapeseed flowers, rhododendrons, etc., competing to play.
