1. Where is Guizhou located?

Guizhou is located on the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau in the southeast of southwest China. The terrain in the territory is high in the west and low in the east, tilted from the middle to the north, east and south, with an average elevation of about 1100 meters. The climate is warm and humid, belonging to the subtropical warm-wet monsoon climate zone, with no severe winter and no scorching summer, abundant precipitation, and rain and heat in the same season.

The largest number of ethnic minorities in Guizhou is in southeast Guizhou, and the main ethnic minorities are Miao and Dong.

  •  Huangguoshu Waterfall, the largest waterfall in China and Asia.
  • Zhijindong Cave Global Geopark, a treasure house of cave resources with magnificent scale and strange shape. The cave has more than 40 kinds of karst accumulation forms, which is called the “karst museum”.
  • Wanfenglin Scenic Spot, consisting of nearly 20,000 peaks and green mountains, which is one of the three major karst landform in southwest China.
  • Mount Fanjing, the original ecology is well preserved, there are many rare species and no traces of man-made scenery on the mountain.
