Highlights
1. Forbidden City
The Forbidden City was the royal residence of the Chinese emperors for over five centuries and is one of the most famous and important cultural landmarks in China. Constructio0n of the Forbidden City began in 1406 during the Ming Dynasty, and it was completed in 1420. The complex covers an area of 180 acres and contains over 90 palaces and courtyards, surrounded by a moat and a high defensive wall. Inside, you can admire the ornate pavilions, gardens and courtyards that make up the palace complex.

2. Leshan Giant Buddha
The Leshan Giant Buddha is the largest stone Buddha statue in the world, standing at 71 meters tall and 28meters wide. It is cared into a cliff face at the confluence of the Minjiang, Qingyi and Dadu Rivers. The Leshan Giant Buddha is an important symbol of Chinese Buddhism and has attracted pilgrims and tourists from around the world for centuries. It is also recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site fro its cultural significance.
3. Jade Dragon Snow Mountain
Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is known for its stunning natural beauty, including snow-capped mountains, glaciers, meadows and forests. It is an important cultural landmark for the Naxi people, an ethnic minority group in Yunnan. The Naxi consider the mountain sacred and believe it is the home of their patron saint. Visitors to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain can enjoy a variety of activities, including hiking, skiing, horseback riding, and visiting local Naxi villages.

4.Li River

The Design of the Day Trip
Day 1 Beijing Arrival
You can arrange for your international flight to get to Beijing. We will meet you at the airport. Then transfer you to the hotel and check you in. Feel free at leisure for the rest of the day.
Day 2 Beijing City Tour
Take a full-day tour around Beijing. First pay a visit to the Tian’anmen Square, the largest city square in the world. Later visit the The Forbidden City, the largest imperial palace in China during the Ming and Qing dynasties with a history of around 600 years.
Then head to The Temple of Heaven, which is located in the southern part of Beijing, and has been one of the most holy places for the whole country for more than five centuries. Continue to explore Beijing Hutong, which have become representatives of local culture, thus it is the first choice for people who would like to learn about the local history and culture.
Day 3 Beijing City Tour
Morning head to visit the Mutianyu Great Wall, Mutianyu Section is called as the Majestic Pass on Precipitous Mountains, which is one of the best-preserved parts of the Great Wall, it is also the longest Great Wall in China. On the way, you can take a photo stop at the 2008 Olympic Site to see the Bird’s Nest National Stadium and Water Cube Aquatic Centre.
We will travel to the Summer Palace, Situated in the Haidian District northwest of Beijing City, the Summer Palace is 15 kilometers from central Beijing.
Day 4 Flight to Chengdu
Take the flight to Chengdu, then we are going to the Wenshu Temple, The temple itself is clean and relatively quiet. There are small ponds and underused buildings in corners of the complex where you can sit and relax. Every now and then a preoccupied monk scurries past. thereafter, we will pay a visit to Qingyang Palace, One of the famous Taoist temples in China. Stroll around the Chengdu People’s Park, enjoy your free time and afternoon tea. Evening spend a time to explore the Chunxi Road.
Day 5 Chengdu – Leshan – Mount Emei
First visit the fascinating Giant Panda Breeding and Research Centre to learn morn about these amazing endangered animals and the programs that are being implemented to protect them. then we will pay a visit to the Huanglongxi Town, is a historic Chinese town located about 50 km from Chengdu in China’s Sichuan Province. It is named after the Huanglong River which flows through it.
Take a scenic drive to the world’s largest Buddha Statue(71m high)at Leshan County,walk down to the foot of the Buddha and hope on a river cruise to appreciate its fill stature and splendor from the river. After the visiting, drive to Mount. Emei for rest.
Day 6 Mount. Emei – Chengdu
After breakfast, we are going to visit Mount Emei, As one of the Four Great Buddhist Mountains in China and the ashram for Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, Mount Emei is reputed for its profound Buddhism culture and it’s the Buddhist sacred place in China. And it is also famous for its stunning natural scenery, and it’s called as vegetable kingdom, animal paradise and geological museum.
Day 7 Flight to Lijiang
Today you will take the flight from Chengdu to Lijiang. We will meet you at the airport, transfer you to the hotel and check you in.
Day 8 Lijiang
Morning breakfast at the hotel, then we will be visiting the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Yak Meadow, Located 25 kilometers north of Lijiang. It is the southernmost snow-capped mountain in China and the ocean glacier nearest to the equator of all the snow mountains in Eurasia. Yak Meadow is the important part of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Thereafter, stroll around Yuhu Village, to explore the local culture and history.
Day 9 Lijiang – Tiger Leaping Gorge – Lijiang
The tour will begin from Zhiyun Temple, which is a Tibetan Buddhist Temple that was founded in 1727 in the fifth year of the Yongzheng Emperor during the Qing Dynasty. It is also the One of the Five Great Monasteries in Lijiang.
Then your guide will also take you to one of the most spectacular sites of Yunnan province, the mighty Tiger Leaping Gorge. Known to be one of the deepest canyons of the world, with a depth of approximately 3800mt, the gorge is located 60km north of Lijiang.
Day 10 Flight to Guilin
We will pick you up from the hotel lobby and drive you to the airport to catch the flight to Guilin. Upon arrival, transfer you to the hotel check in. Feel free at leisure for the rest of the day.
Day 11 Guilin
Morning breakfast at the hotel, we will do an exploration to the ” Palace of Natural Art”Reed Flute Cave,view the beautiful vista of the Elephant Trunk Hill.
Day 12 Ferry to Yangshuo
Enjoy the spectacular Li River Cruises.The cruise ship goes past the bizarre shaped mountains,villages and water buffaloes.Disembark at the traditional country town of Yangshuo. You can explore tranquilly countryside and local villages, see rice paddies and fish farms. There are many activities to day, such as cycling,bamboo boat drifting and more.
Day 13 Yangshuo – Guilin – Shanghai
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and then we will meet you at the hotel lobby, you will be transferred to the airport in Guilin and catch the flight to the last stop Shanghai. Be met and transferred to the hotel check in.
Day 14 Shanghai City Tour
Today we will start our journey from Shanghai Museum, which is located the center of Shanghai in people’s square, it is a large museum of ancient Chinese art. Next, we will travel to Jade Buddha Temple, A beautiful Buddhist temple constructed in 1882 housing two spectacular, imported, jade, Burmese Buddhas. The next site we will visit today is Tianzifang, comparing with the brand new modern buildings, you can find the special architecture of old Shanghai city.
Thereafter, we will pay a visit to the Bund, This symbol of Shanghai is known worldwide as the “gallery of international architecture”. Enjoy the scenery of Huangpu River, At the Baidu Bridge in the center of Shanghai City, Huangpu River flows together with the Wusong River (i.e. Suzhou River) and finally flows into the East China Sea.
Day 15 Shanghai Departure
Today you will say farewell to Shanghai and end your enjoyable tour. Wish you a pleasant journey home.
