1.Definition 

Shaolin Kungfu refers to a traditional cultural system based on Buddhist belief in divine power, fully embodying Buddhist Zen wisdom and mainly expressed in the martial arts practiced by Shaolin monks in the specific Buddhist cultural environment of Song Shan Shaolin Temple in Dengfeng, Henan Province. Shaolin Kungfu Heritage was selected as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage List in 2006.
