As the starting point of Silk Road, Xi’an has a profound history and culture. Drive to the countryside of the Xi’an city about 1hrs, we will visit the most impressive historic site Terracotta Warriors which are the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century. Work is ongoing at this site, which is around 1.5 kilometers east of Emperor Qin Shi Huang’s Mausoleum in Lintong, It is a sight not to be missed by any visitor to China. Believe you will be amazed by the culture and history to get a feeling back to Qin Dynasty during the 3hrs experience. （No flash when take photos)
Lunch will be in the local restaurant, we will continue the sightseeing to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda built to house Buddhist scriptures collected by a Chinese Monk. Big Wild Goose Pagoda has 7 floors in total. Architecture is traditional Chinese style decorating with some Buddha statues. Tourists can see variety of Buddha statues and see the whole Xi’an city at the top floor. In the evening, you will stroll around the Muslim Street, relax with free wandering along the street when tasting the local delicacies and experiencing the local lifestyle.

This morning we will go to the Shaanxi Province Museum, This provincial museum is one of the major museums in China. It holds numerous unearthed cultural artifacts from within the Shaanxi province as well as the rest of China. The newly built modern building recreates Tang-dynasty architecture and successfully symbolizes the great extent of Shaanxi history and its remarkable culture.
Next, we will visit the Ancient City Wall, which is the best preserved city wall in China. Ancient city wall has a history of 600 years. It is the Ming dynasty city wall. The city wall was built to protect the city. You can hire a bike and cycle around the city wall, stopping for photos and to enjoy the view. Continue our sightseeing of Tang Paradise, which features numerous buildings, squares, and gardens, all incorporating features of traditional Tang Chinese architecture.

Take a morning train from Xi’an to Chengdu. We will meet you at the train station and then visit today’s first site People’s Park. The park was built in 1911. It is now a relaxing place for locals. Enjoy the delicacy scenery and appreciate various flower shows. Drink tea is a must-do thing for you. Spend one afternoon, order a pot of tea and do nothing but relax. In the evening, enjoy a walking tour around the streets of Chengdu and experience the local Tricycle cuisine.

After breakfast you will pay a visit to the Giant Panda Base in Chengdu, which is 15 kilometres away from the urban area. It’s the world-famous and the only panda base in China. If you are animal lovers, this tour is an ideal one for you. You will have a chance to be a volunteer to feed and clean panda and observe their behaviour closely. This is must be a memorable experience for your whole life. Take your time to explore the daily life of the cute pandas, and see them eating bamboo at their active time.
After the panda volunteer experience, we will travel to Du Fu Thatched Cottage, which is the former Chengdu residence of the famous Tang Dynasty poet Du Fu. Du Fu lived here for nearly four years. During his stay, he created hundreds of poems. This place is thus regarded as the “holy land” of Chinese literature. After relaxing we will head out to the Kuanzhai Xiangzi, which is one of the most popular scenic spots in Chengdu.

Full day sightseeing in Chongqing. After breakfast, we will meet you at the hotel lobby and transfer you to Dazu and visit the Baodingshan, known as Mount Baoding, Precious Summit Mountain, and Summit of Treasures, is a Buddhist site in Chongqing. Then visit The Beishan Grottoes were carved beginning in the late Tang, that culminated in the Song-Dynasty carvings at Baodingshan and Anyue County. The last destination for today is Hongya Cave, which is located in the downtown of Chongqing by the riverside of Jialing River. It used to be one of top eight ancient scenaries. Hongya Cave has a very special contruction feature which is built on hillside and on riverside,with one side of the house resting on rocks while the other three sides supported by wooden or bamboo poles. We suggest you board the ship in the evening, sail on the Jialing River and enjoy the night view of Hongya Cave.

After breakfast, we will head out to Ciqikou Old Town for our first destination, to visit the ancient Chinese characteristics of the building, feel the local culture, you can also taste the local cuisine. Then you will be transferred to the Airport and fly to Lijiang.

Full day sightseeing in Lijiang. the first site we will visit today is Baisha village, which is the original settlement and earliest political centre of the Naxi people. Painted over 1,000 years ago, the murals combine the cultures of the Han, Tibetan, and Naxi people, and display stories of Tibetan Buddhism, Confucianism, and Taoism. Have a relaxing walking int he Baisha Village and get to know about the local life and culture. then proceed the journey to Yuhu Village, Walking along this village, you can see how local people really live and experience the original face of the village. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the ancient city of Lijiang can be traced back to more than 800 years ago. Besides its unique architecture and local ethnic culture, it is also known for its orderly arrangement of bridges and waterways. Walk along the winding cobbled paths — it is said that you won’t get lost as long as you follow the water. Thereafter, You can visit the Mu family (Mu family) in the old town of Lijiang. It took more than 60 years to build this huge complex of buildings, consisting of many pavilions and gardens, each of which is more beautiful than the previous one. It overlooks Lion Mountain and provides access to the memorial.

After breakfast, drive to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, take 25 minutes’ cableway to Glacier Park, you will see the vegetations changes with ascending altitude. Walk along the plank road to reach 4680m and appreciate the fairyland with ice and snow. Take cableway down, drive to visit Blue Moon Valley with turquoise-colored water. Afterwards, drive back to Lijiang for rest.

Today we will drive all the way from Lijiang to Shangri-La. On the road, you will pay a visit to Tiger Leaping Gorge, It is on the Jinsha River of the upper reaches of the Yangtze) is located 105 kilometers south of Zhongdian County. The gorge is 17 kilometers long with a drop of 213 meters.The Tiger Leaping Gorge is divided into three sections: Upper, Middle and Lower Hutiao. At the narrowest spot the river is only 30 meters wide. The mouth of the gorge is 1,800 meters above sea level. The river is flanked by Yulong and Haba snow mountains, with a height difference of 3,900 meters. It is one of the deepest gorges in the world. We will arrive in Shangri-La in the afternoon and visit Songzanlin Monastery, which is one of the most important Buddhist monasteries in Yunnan. Here, tranquillity prevails, as its 700 monks and acolytes (often beginning their training at the age of five) go about their daily lives – just as they have done for more than three centuries. The lamasery’s murals are one of its highlights – resplendently colourful depictions of the life Buddha, the guardian deities of Buddhism and the wheel of life, painted by distinguished lamas past and present. Today you will also have an opportunity to visit a local Tibetan family.

In Tibetan language, Pudacuo means reaching the opposite side of the lake by boat under the help of deity. forest, marsh, valley, alpine meadow and so on can be seen in the park. Meet your guide at the hotel. Morning walking in Shaxi Ancient Town, it was once an important station on the ancient tea-horse road. Now Shaxi is quieter and simpler, and it also better preserves the style of the tea-horse town. Walking on the street slowly enjoys the ancient town. Quiet and comfortable.you will visit Shibao Mountain, you will take the shuttle bus to the foot of the Baoxiang Temple. You will climb the stairs to the temple located in the mountains. In this temple, you will have the opportunity to visit the shrine dedicated to the Lord, Buddhist, and Taoist saints. And then take a shuttle bus to Shizhong Temple. Upon arriving at the parking lot of Shizhong Temple, you will visit impressive 13th century Buddhist sculptures. Then you head for a small temple with a hiking trail behind it. Please note that this is an easy hiking trip, but there are stairs to take, and some places are a bit steep. You can take a shuttle bus instead.

Today pay a visit to the Monastery Santasi (Three Pagodas)，a symbol of the history of Dali City and a record of the development of Buddhism in the area. It occupies a scenic location at the foot of Mt. Cangshan and facing the Erhai Lake with a history of over 1,800 years. Then travel to the Erhai Lake, cruise in the lake by the small boat to the Jinsuo Islet in the east Erhai Lake. There are 200 Bai ethnic families around 1000 people in Jinsuo Island. In Erhai Lake cruise, you will enjoy the green Cangshan Mountain and the Three Pagodas from a far as well as lots of birds and seagulls flying over the lake. If you are interested, you can also ride a bicycle along the Erhai Lake if you are interested in.
After the visit at Erhai, You will also have an opportunity to enjoy the beautiful flowers at the Huayu Ranch. There are dozens of ornamental flowers such as lily, zinnia, dasiphora fruticosa, a string of blue, marigold, dianthus, campanula, chamomile, celosia, red leaves, willow verbena, willow, roses, etc. In addition to the flowers, there are some amusement facilities in the ranch. The journey will end at the old town of Dali, weathered gray granite stands at 2,100 meters on a long, narrow rice plain between the Cangshan Mountains and the Erhai Lake, a natural configuration that seems specially designed for a good, bountiful life. The journey today will begin from the West Lake, a fabulous place for photography because of its natural beauty. Suggest you rent a bicycle or take a boat to enjoy the beautiful views of lake and surrounding mountains. Then go to view fish at flower pond, hang out for 30 minutes or 1 hour to see the sight of brightly colorful fish swimming around and listen the brisk melody of chirpy birdsong. Then pay a visit to the Leifeng Pagoda, which is one of the Ten Views of the West Lake, and become famous because of “White Snake” legend. Later visit Liuhe Pagoda which is located at the foot of Yuelun Hill facing the Qiantangjiang River. You will have an impressive experience in taking in the ancient Chinese architecture. We will back to Shanghai in the afternoon.

Next travel to the Shanghai City God Temple, which is a Taoist temple complex located in what was the Old City of Shanghai. Here you can fully appreciate the city’s folk traditions and taste authentic Shanghai snacks.
Afterwards, you will visit one of the symbol of Shanghai- the Bund. Lying along the side of Huangpujiang River with various architectural styles, the Bund is recognized as “the museum of buildings”. Stroll along the buildings, appreciate the beautiful scenery as well as feeling the charm of this century-long historical architectural ensembles and visit the top commercial district in Shanghai – Nanjing Road.
