Morning after the breakfast, drive to Genhe to visit the Erguna Wetland, it is the largest and most intact wetland in China, and also known as the first wetland in Asia. It is one of the most important breeding grounds for red-crowned cranes in the world. Climb to the top of the main peak with the altitude of 720m, and enjoy a panoramic view of the wetland. The most representative sight on the way is the island in the middle of the lake, which is shaped like a leaf.

Then, go to the Aoluguya Ewenk Ethnic Village in the deep part of the Great Khingan Mountains, pay a visit to the Aoluguya Reindeer Tribe, the only reindeer tribe in China and the last hunting nation in China. They raise reindeer as the main production and lifestyle, and their daily life is closely related to reindeer. Aoluguya is an Ewenk word meaning “place of lush poplars”. Almost every family here keeps reindeer, and in winter, walking in the streets of the town, you can often see reindeer pulling sledges galloping past.

Today we’re going to the Mordoga National Forest Park, it is the largest forest park in China, the northernmost location, the longest sightseeing route and the most complete forest diversity, with a forest coverage rate of 93.3%. The scenic resources in the park are unique to the North, preserving the last bright coniferous virgin forest landscape in China, with towering ancient trees, rich vegetation and dense streams. The forest sea, pine wind, blue sky and white clouds in summer and ice peak, snow ridge and rime in winter are all very distinctive.

90 kilometers north of the park is Shiwei Town, the birthplace of Mongolian Shiwei tribe, it is also the location of the Russian Ethnic Town of Erguna City. Now there are more than 10 big town sites preserved, with deep historical and cultural connotations including searching for Mongolian roots, worship, sightseeing, investigation. You can also pay a visit to the local family, enjoy the stone sauna, taste Russian snacks, enjoy the Chinese and Russian descendants of song and dance, which is fun and interesting.

Morning after breakfast, we will drive straight for Haur River, with thousand turns and water flowing whole year long, should be named “The Queen of Forest Winding River”. The land and forests here have left the footprints of Tuoba Xianbei and Mongolian ancestors in history. It also nurtures the people of modern Erguna. The good vegetation of the Haur River basin and other water systems together build the famous green ecological barrier of the Greater Khingan Mountains in China.

Continue the journey to Heishantou, on the way we’ll pay a visit to the only original Birch Forest belt in Hulunbuir, which is also the most beautiful piece of pure green birch forest in China. Birch tree is the city tree of Erguna, and is also the most beloved sacred tree of Russians, considered as the messenger of spring and love. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery on the treetop on the 8 meters high and 300 meters long air-plank road. Also you can walk into the Deer Park in the forest for a close contact with reindeer, roe deer, fox, etc. After the exploration, stay overnight in Heishantou.

In the morning, explore the Manzhouli Matryoshka Square. The theme building here is a matryoshka doll with a height of 30 meters and a construction area of 3200 square meters, which is the largest matryoshka doll in the world. The exterior painting of the doll is divided into three sides, composed of the images of Han, Mongolian and Russian girls, respectively representing China, Russia and Mongolia, highlighting the characteristics of the three countries in Manzhouli. In the night, under the mapping of nearly a thousand colored lights, the square is colorful, as if it is a fairy tale world.

Today we will do a full day tour aronud Arxan National Forest Park. It belongs to the volcanic lava landform, with good ecological environment, magical natural landscape and rich geological resources, is the largest volcanic lava platform in Asia, the world’s second largest functional type mine spring group. The first spot we are goning to visit is Tianchi, located on Tianchi Ridge, 74 kilometers northeast of Arxan, the lake is 1,332.3 meters above sea level and has 484 steps. If we look down on Tianchi from the sky, Tianchi looks like a drop of water. Oval – shaped Tianchi like a crystal jasper, inlaid in the magnificent magnificent, verdant mountains.

Second spot is Shitang Forest, located in the east of Tianchi Forest Farm, is one of the wonders of the Greater Khingan Mountains. It is formed by magma flowing and congealing after volcanic eruption. After thousands of years of weathering and water erosion, the unique natural landform of Shitang Forest has been formed. It is a rare and strange landscape in China. After the tour, we will live in the Park.
