6 Days Wulanbutong horseback Traverse

Today your flight will touch down in Chifeng. Upon arriving, take a taxi at airport and have a rest at hotel booked by yourself. Today is free for you to explore the surrounding areas.

Tomorrow morning, we will pick you up and drive you to the ranch.

Around 8:30 in the morning, we will pick you up and drive to the West Ramlun River Ranch. Upon arrival, we will head to check into the hotel first, and have lunch in the hotel. 
Then drive to the ranch and start our horse-riding activities. We will allocate suitable horses based on the height, weight, age, and equestrian level of the each participant. And explain the precautions for horseback travel, and conduct basic training. Today, we prepare delicious Mongolian stone barbecue, fruits, vegetables and wine for you as welcome dinner. Hope you enjoy it!
Note: 

The outdoor riding time is about 2 hours. 

Recommended route: you can start from the horse farm, led by the team leader, ride along the source of the Xilamulun River to the Toufenggou and enjoy the sunset on the grassland.

Enjoying a nice breakfast in the morning, we will continue learning riding horses and getting familiar with the horses. After you can ride a horse by yourself, we will start our journey of riding cross the hilling grassland. Along the way, silver birch woods forest slowly enters into our view. Enjoy the healing scenery on the way.
In the late afternoon, you must be hungry after a whole day riding. And when we arrive at campsite, yummy roasted whole lamb, roasted beef bone marrow, various drinks are waiting for you.

In the morning, we have Mongolian milk tea and lamb soup as our breakfast. Today is a whole day riding. Continue our riding deep through the graceful silver birch woods and then we will enter into the winter pastures of local herders. 

On the way, we will enjoy Mongolian special stew, fruits, vegetables. After lunch, we will ride by Ulan Butong scenic spot — the beautiful Princess Lake, where the princess wept and shed tears in sorrow.

Then walk along the dirt road to the important water supply point-Huagulutai. In the late afternoon, we are going to have dinner: red willow skewers, homemade cakes, and various drinks.

Morning after breakfast, start our riding journey today. Downhill from the top into the vast grassland, limitless grassland set our eyes free. Feel the infinity and live deep each breathing. Follow the path and gradually step into the depths of the grassland to the best grass pasture in the entire Ulan Butong. In spring and summer, the horse’s legs passed over the tall grass, making noises. 

Stayed at the most beautiful campsite today. Sandwiched between two hills, there is a birch forest in the distance, and a small blister close by. We are going to enjoy prairie copper pot-shabu-boiled meat and various drinks in the late afternoon.

On the last day of the itinerary, bid farewell to the WulanButong Prairie and head to the most beautiful land of aquatic plants in Inner Mongolia Xilamulun Wetland. The Xilamulun River, the true mother river of grassland civilization. This is the wetland in China where we can ride in wilderness, the home for the wild hearts…

Arrived at the end of this trip at noon, and after lunch, say goodbye to grassland and drive you to Chifeng Yulong Airport before 18:00 to catch your flight. Wish you a pleasant journry back to home!
